China Field Recordings (Sound of the Year Award winner)
In 2024, while travelling in China, I captured a series of field recordings. It's something I like to do when abroad. This batch was especially good, so I compiled them into an album.
One of these recordings, "Vendors in the Park", was chosen as the winning entry for Sound of the Year Award's "Sound of the City" category.
After the award, I gave an Interview with 'Electronic Sound'.
On top of that, one of my favorite bands / artists 'Zoviet France', played one of these recordings on their radio show 'A Duck in a Tree'. As a long time listener, I appreciated that bit of recognition.
